Python Backend Engineer (Go + Terraform + AWS)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer with strong experience in Go, cloud-native services on AWS, containerization, and distributed messaging systems. The ideal candidate will develop, maintain, and optimize backend services, integrate observability tools, and ensure high performance and reliability of production systems.
This role is perfect for someone with a strong backend foundation, cloud experience, and exposure to monitoring and logging systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Go.
- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker.
- Work with NATS for messaging and event-driven architecture.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage services on AWS (CloudWatch, EC2, ElastiCache/Redis).
- Query and analyze logs and metrics using Humio Query Language and New Relic QL.
- Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high service availability and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with focus on reliability and scalability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement root-cause solutions.
- Document technical designs, runbooks, and best practices for backend systems.
