Job Description: MuleSoft Developer – AGENTIC AI Engineering Team 


Position Overview 

We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Developer to join our Agentic AI Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, driving API-led connectivity, and delivering high-quality integration solutions aligned with business requirements. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • API Design & Development 
  • Design APIs using Three-Layered Architecture and create API specifications. 
  • Develop APIs using MuleSoft components: API Manager, CloudHub, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave. 
  • Implement and consume REST/SOAP-based web services. 
  • Integration Solutions 
  • Design, develop, and implement integration flows using Mule ESB. 
  • Configure and deploy Mule applications to CloudHub and on-prem environments. 
  • Create reusable flows, sub-flows, and processing strategies for performance optimization. 
  • Data Transformation & Error Handling 
  • Write DataWeave expressions for data transformation and message routing. 
  • Implement comprehensive error handling strategies for applications. 
  • Performance & Testing 
  • Test and improve API performance (response time, reliability, resource usage). 
  • Perform Unit Testing using MUnit/JUnit and follow Test-Driven Development practices. 
  • DevOps & CI/CD 
  • Drive continuous integration and delivery using tools like Jenkins, Maven, Ant. 
  • Collaborate on automated deployment and monitoring strategies. 
  • Collaboration & Documentation 
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements. 
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and design specifications. 
  • Participate in architecture development and solution design sessions. 
  • Troubleshooting & Support 
  • Diagnose and resolve integration issues promptly. 
  • Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of integration solutions. 


Required Skills & Qualifications 

Experience: Minimum 5+ years in integration development, with at least 3+ years on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform 

Technical Expertise: 

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, including JMS, JDBC, Mail. 
  • Proficiency in Mule ESB, API Manager, CloudHub, Anypoint Studio. 
  • Solid understanding of API Gateway concepts and security best practices. 
  • Experience with DataWeave, XML, XSLT, JSON, and schema design. 
  • Knowledge of REST/SOAP web services development. 

Testing & CI/CD: 

  • Experience with MUnit/JUnit, automated testing frameworks. 
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Maven, SVN, Git. 
  • Database Skills: Oracle, MySQL, IBM DB2 or similar. 

Soft Skills: 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Ability to work in mid-to-large cross-functional teams. 


Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with Cloud Integration and API-led connectivity. 
  • Knowledge of B2B technologies, ESB adapters, and connectors. 
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). 
  • Exposure to AI-driven integration patterns (nice to have for AGENTIC AI context).
