Job Title: Lead Senior Associate | Financial Accounts | Bengaluru | Finance & Accounts
You will play a critical role in supporting Business Finance and Delivery Organization for our operate and managed services business unit in India. This position will focus on supporting financial performance management, budgeting, and forecasting. This role reports to the Finance Leader of the business unit.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare the budgets and forecasts by working closely with senior management and business.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Assess trends and provide insights into business performance, and ensure financial plans are aligned with operational goals.
- Coordination with Deloitte Shared Services: Closely work with Deloitte Shared Services on the various finance activities such as
- Accounting Operations: Invoicing, reconciliations, journal entries, and tax-related processes, ensuring strong controls and compliances.
- Operational Support: Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and systems within the organization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (such as service delivery, procurement, and legal) to gather financial data, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with business operations.
- US Gaap Support: Assist in updating templates for the US GAAP and US GAAP entries.
- Financial Systems Support: Assist in the use and maintenance of financial systems to ensure accurate reporting and data integrity.
Educational Background
- MBA Finance, with 3-4 years of relevant experience.
Skills Required
- Financial Analysis: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and prepare reports that support business decisions.
- Data Analysis Expertise: Proficiency in handling large datasets using tools like SQL, Power BI, and other data visualization or analysis platforms to extract insights and drive business decisions.
- High level of Ownership: Self-driven individual who is proactive, hands-on, and excels at taking initiative to get things done independently.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail while working on financial reports and insights.
- Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with senior managers and cross-functional teams.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work in a team environment, supporting colleagues and other departments to ensure financial alignment with operational goals.
- Technological Proficiency: Proficient in using financial systems and tools such as SAP for accurate reporting and data management.
