Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Tricentis Tosca and Selenium to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building automation frameworks from scratch, designing scalable automation solutions, and implementing end-to-end test automation for web and API applications.

The candidate will play a key role in driving automation initiatives, improving test coverage, and enabling continuous testing within Agile delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Framework Development

Design, develop, and implement robust automation frameworks from scratch using Selenium and Tosca.

Define automation standards, framework architecture, reusable libraries, and best practices.

Develop scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation solutions for enterprise applications.

Implement reporting, logging, test data management, and exception handling mechanisms.

Test Automation

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications.

Create reusable Tosca modules and automation assets.

Build and execute regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end automation suites.

Identify automation opportunities and increase overall automation coverage.

CI/CD Integration

Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

Support continuous testing and automated execution as part of release cycles.

Analyze automation results and provide actionable insights.

Quality Assurance

Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test strategy discussions.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure quality deliverables.

Perform defect analysis and root cause investigation for automation failures.

Ensure comprehensive test coverage for critical business workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

4–7 years of experience in QA Automation

Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca

Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver

Proven experience in building automation frameworks from scratch

Strong programming skills in Java

Experience with TestNG/JUnit

API Automation using REST Assured/Postman

SQL and database validation experience

Git version control experience

CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
