Job Title: Senior Consultant – Order Management System (OMS)

Experience: 7-10 Years

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant with strong expertise in Order Management Systems (OMS) to lead solution design, implementation, integration, and optimization initiatives across omnichannel retail, e-commerce, supply chain, and fulfillment environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional and technical knowledge of OMS platforms and be capable of driving end-to-end transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead OMS implementation, enhancement, and support projects.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements related to order lifecycle management.
  • Design scalable OMS solutions covering order capture, orchestration, fulfillment, inventory visibility, returns, and customer service.
  • Conduct workshops with business stakeholders and translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Configure OMS applications and oversee customization activities where required.
  • Integrate OMS with ERP, WMS, TMS, CRM, e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Drive solution architecture discussions and recommend best practices.
  • Support SIT, UAT, performance testing, and production deployment activities.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and optimize order fulfillment workflows.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior consultants and development teams.
  • Manage stakeholder communications and project governance activities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Order Management Systems implementation and consulting.

  • Salesforce Order Management
  • Experience integrating OMS with ERP, WMS, CRM, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of APIs, REST/SOAP services, EDI, XML, JSON, and middleware technologies.
  • Strong business process mapping and solution design skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • OMS platform certifications preferred.
  • Experience in Retail, E-commerce, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain domains.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based OMS solutions.
