Your work profile
Roles and Responsibilities
Ø Understand the Project Delivery Framework (PDF) and how to apply both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies within the framework.
Ø Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for complex IT projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
Ø Develop Project Charter, project plans, including detailed scope, budget, and schedule baselines.
Ø Establish appropriate project governance and assurance, meticulously monitoring progress, managing risks, issues, and dependencies (internal and external), and ensuring readiness for change.
Ø Provide clear, concise, and regular delivery reports, metrics, and measurements to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
Ø Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and impediments, addressing root causes and developing effective remediation plans.
Ø Oversee project financials, tracking budget variances, and implementing corrective actions to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
Ø Manage changes in project scope, costs, resources, and timing within established governance and change control processes.
Ø Ensure quality project standards are met as prescribed by IT Services through the effective implementation and use of approved processes, methodologies, and deliverables.
Ø Manage vendor relationships and third-party dependencies as required.
Ø Act as a servant leader and coach for multiple Agile/Scrum teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, sprint demos).
Ø Guide and mentor team members on Agile principles, practices, and roles, ensuring a shared understanding and adherence to Agile methodologies.
Ø Collaborate closely with Product Owners to define, refine, and prioritize user stories, epics, and product backlogs, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and value delivery.
Ø Proactively identify and remove obstacles or impediments that may hinder the team's progress, escalating when necessary.
Ø Foster a culture of transparency, trust, open communication, and continuous improvement within the teams.
Ø Encourage team self-organization and accountability for their decisions and commitments.
Ø Champion the adoption of DevOps practices, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance delivery efficiency and quality.
Ø Participate in and assist with larger Agile scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe) activities, including PI planning events, as applicable.
Skills
Ø Overall, 8 to 12 years of professional experience in the IT industry, of which at least 6-8 years should have been in a Project Manager and Scrum Master role.
Ø BE/BTech + MBA (Preferred)
Ø Certifications like PMP/PMI-ACP/CSM/PSM/Prince2/SAFe is preferred.
Ø Good understanding on SDLC phases and deliverables.
Ø Understanding of Project management methodologies and models (Waterfall and Agile)
Ø Knowledge and experience of other agile, lean and DevOps approaches (e.g., XP, Kanban, TDD, continuous integration, continuous delivery, automation, etc.)
Ø Hands on experience on any project management tool such as ADO, Monday.com Jira, MPP, Clarity, PowerBI etc.
Ø Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ø Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional, diplomatic and tactful manner.
