Work you’ll do
The primary role of a Transition Manager is to plan, organize and drive Transition of Services either from one location to the other (or) from one service provider to the other
To do this, a Transition Manager must perform the following activities:
· Develop Transition Plan
· Conduct / Facilitate workshops
· Oversee and guide Transition execution (Knowledge Transfer, Primary support, Shadow support)
· Monitor and Report progress of Transition across all stages to ensure that deadlines are met and objectives are achieved
· Identify dependencies and collaborate with cross functional teams
· Stakeholder Management and Communication management
· Risk and Issue Management
· Handle escalations and conflict within the project team.
· Guide and motivate the team in multi-vendor and multi country environment.
· Define training plans, design content and conduct trainings, as needed
· Manage Financials to ensure Operational excellence
· Ensure all required documentation is prepared and signed off
· Manage and control Scope, Budget and Schedule to ensure that the initiative is delivered on time within the agreed budget
Skills Required
· Total 8 to 12 years’ of work experience of which 4 to 5 years’ have been specifically on managing large Transitions
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering or MBA from reputed institutions
· MUST have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
· Experience working with MNC clients
· Experience in using tools like JIRA/ADO
· PMP / PRINCE2 certification preferred
· Should have strong critical-thinking capabilities to solve problems and think about wide-ranging issues and facilitate decisions.
· Flexibility to travel
