Job SummaryThe AEM Assets Manager will act as the technical and strategic owner of the Adobe Experience Manager Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform. This role involves defining taxonomy, governance, and workflow standards, as well as overseeing system integration (e.g., Workfront, Adobe Commerce, CMS) to maximize asset utilization and brand consistency. Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Strategy & Governance: Define and enforce DAM governance, including metadata schemas, taxonomy, naming conventions, rendition profiles, and access controls.System Ownership: Oversee the technical health, performance, security, and scalability of AEM Assets (Cloud Service or 6.5).Integration Management: Design and lead integrations between AEM Assets and other systems, including Adobe Workfront, Adobe Commerce (PIM), and CMS systems.Workflow Automation: Develop and optimize asset workflows, such as ingestion, approval, and publishing automation to enhance speed-to-market.Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with creative teams, marketing operations, and IT to ensure the DAM platform meets business needs and is aligned with the Content Supply Chain strategy.Performance & Audits: Monitor asset usage and repository performance. Conduct audits to ensure adherence to compliance, brand standards, and technical best practices.Training & Adoption: Drive adoption of the DAM by providing training and documentation to users. Required QualificationsExperience: 5+ years of experience working with AEM Assets or a large-scale enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.Technical Skills: Strong understanding of AEM architecture, JCR, workflows, APIs, and metadata modeling.Adobe Ecosystem: Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud integration and Adobe Experience Cloud (Workfront, Analytics, Sites).Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading technical teams or managing third-party partners.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Preferred CertificationsAdobe Experience Manager Assets Developer/Business Practitioner Professional.Agile/Scrum or Project Management Professional (PMP).
