We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our Financial Services technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, security, and compliance of financial applications, including banking, payments, lending, insurance, and investment platform
Key Skills Required
Education - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
10+ years (or as required) of experience in software testing and automation
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, API, and backend applications.
Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
Validate financial transactions, payment processing, account management, and regulatory workflows.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and identify test coverage.
Develop API automation using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations, security standards, and audit requirements.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
Experience testing AI-powered applications including LLM-based features, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.
Ability to design adversarial test cases, evaluate non-deterministic outputs using semantic similarity and LLM-as-a judge techniques and identify failure modes such as hallucination, prompt injection, and context drift.
Familiarity with AI eval frameworks (DeeEval, Promptfoo or similar) and integrating LLM test suites into CI/CD pipelines

Required Qualifications
Strong knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or UFT.
Proficiency in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.
Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Quality Center.
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in banking, fintech, payments, insurance, wealth management, or capital markets domains.
Knowledge of financial messaging standards such as SWIFT, ISO 20022, FIX Protocol, or payment gateways.
Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
Understanding of regulatory requirements including KYC, AML, PCI-DSS, SOX, or GDPR.
Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Certified Selenium Professional, or Agile certifications.
