Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Azure Architect – Manager (Integration Track) with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud architecture and OMS (Operations Management Suite) integrations. The role involves designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions on Azure, while ensuring operational visibility through monitoring and observability frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Azure integration services, API-based architectures, cloud-native integration patterns, and OMS/Azure Monitor integrations, along with exposure to Order Management System (OMS) integrations supporting end-to-end order lifecycle processes, and proven leadership experience in guiding engineering and support teams.
Key Responsibilities
Azure Architecture & Design
• Design and implement enterprise-grade integration architectures on Microsoft Azure.
• Define scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud solutions for integration platforms.
• Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for Azure environments.
Integration Architecture
• Architect and implement integration solutions using Azure Integration Services including APIs, messaging, and workflow automation.
• Design API-led and event-driven integration architectures for enterprise applications.
• Support integration patterns such as microservices integration, data integration, and hybrid integrations.
• Design and support integration of Order Management Systems (OMS) with upstream channels and downstream fulfilment systems.
OMS / Monitoring & Observability
• Implement OMS (Operations Management Suite) integrations for monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Design solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and automation capabilities.
• Establish operational dashboards, alerts, and observability frameworks for integration services.
• Enable monitoring of OMS transaction flows (order creation, orchestration, fulfillment, and status tracking) within observability frameworks.
Cloud Implementation & Optimization
• Work with engineering teams to implement solutions using Azure services such as:
o Azure API Management
o Azure Logic Apps
o Azure Service Bus / Event Grid
o Azure Functions
o Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and cost efficiency in cloud deployments.
• Optimize order processing integrations and OMS-related workflows for performance and reliability.
Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration
• Provide technical leadership to development and operations teams.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
• Guide teams in cloud adoption, modernization, and integration best practices, including OMS integration strategies.
Security & Governance
• Implement security, compliance, and governance frameworks for Azure environments.
• Ensure integration solutions follow secure API and data exchange practices, including secure handling of order data in OMS integrations.
Continuous Improvement
• Drive automation, DevOps, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Support cloud modernization and integration platform transformation programs.
• Identify improvements in OMS integration patterns and order lifecycle orchestration.
Required Skills
• Strong experience in Microsoft Azure architecture
• Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services (API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, etc.)
• Experience implementing OMS / Azure Monitor / Log Analytics integrations
• Strong understanding of API-led integration and microservices architectures
• Experience with cloud-native application and integration design
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Basic understanding of Order Management Systems (OMS) and order lifecycle (order capture, orchestration, fulfilment)
• Strong stakeholder and technical leadership skills
Preferred Skills
• Experience with hybrid cloud integration architectures
• Familiarity with Kubernetes / AKS
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform)
• Experience with enterprise integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.)
• Understanding of event-driven and serverless architectures
• Exposure to OMS platforms (e.g., IBM Sterling OMS, SAP OMS, or similar) is a plus
Certifications (Preferred)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Azure Developer / Azure Administrator Certification
• ITIL Certification (optional)
