Role Overview
As a Manager / Associate Director, you will lead DevOps and Cloud Engineering initiatives, ensuring high-quality delivery, mentoring teams, and driving strategic transformation programs across enterprise environments.
Work You’ll Do
- Translate business requirements into scalable DevOps and cloud solutions
- Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle (design, development, deployment, support)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective and timely delivery
- Conduct peer reviews and enforce quality standards
- Drive Agile practices including sprint planning, retrospectives, and estimations
- Build and share domain knowledge; support team learning and documentation
- Identify automation opportunities and improve delivery efficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services and GitHub Actions
- Architect Azure infrastructure using Landing Zones and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Ansible)
- Manage microservices deployments using Kubernetes and Helm
- Drive adoption of Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, AKS, Storage, and SQL Database
- Implement monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
- Define branching strategies aligned with Agile and governance frameworks
- Collaborate across development, QA, and operations teams
- Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with cloud security standards
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
- Master’s degree (MBA / M.Tech or equivalent) preferred
- Relevant certifications in Azure, Cloud, or DevOps are a plus
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–14 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud
- Strong expertise in CI/CD, Git, and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, YAML/JSON)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Ansible)
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Knowledge of CIS, NIST, ISO security frameworks
- Experience in large-scale cloud transformation programs
