Role Overview

As a Manager / Associate Director – Azure Infrastructure, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure solutions. You will combine strategic thinking with deep technical expertise to drive cloud transformation initiatives, ensure governance, and enable scalable, secure environments.

You will also mentor teams, collaborate with stakeholders across geographies, and deliver high-quality solutions within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Azure infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to best practices
• Define and implement cloud architecture standards, governance frameworks, and Landing Zone strategies (Azure Landing Zones, Management Groups, Azure Policy, Blueprints)
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and Ansible
• Optimize cost, performance, and scalability across cloud environments
• Ensure security and compliance through identity management, encryption, and audit controls
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to align infrastructure with business objectives
• Mentor and guide teams on cloud technologies and operational excellence
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate emerging cloud services
• Establish monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and third-party tools
• Prepare and present strategic roadmaps and executive updates

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in Azure architecture and infrastructure management
• Strong understanding of multi-subscription environments, Landing Zones, and governance
• Hands-on expertise with IaC tools (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Ansible)
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Shell)
• Deep knowledge of cloud networking, security, and compliance
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience in large-scale cloud programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert / Azure Administrator Associate
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cloud transformation programs
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Education

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
