The Team
Deloitte Regulatory and Financial risk helps entities mitigate risk while discovering new opportunities to create value. Our end-to-end risk services span all domains, from managing strategic risks in the C-Suite to improving board oversight, and from balancing financial and environmental policies to addressing cyber threats.
Work you’ll do
We are looking for Endur experts with a good understanding of energy/commodity trading business to join our team of thought leaders and expert thinkers to solve clients’ complex and challenging problems. You’ll use your business and technical acumen to design and develop solutions to support the front-to-back trade lifecycles in Endur. You will partner with our prestigious clients on their exciting Digital Business Transformation (DBT) journey. You should have hands-on experience in designing and developing customizations in Endur with in-depth knowledge and experience in extension technologies like OpenJVS and/or OpenComponentsplus strong fundamentals in OOPS and Solid principles. We are on a mission to transform the world, and you will be instrumental in shaping how we do it with your ideas, thoughts, and solutions.
In our team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You’ll:
· Develop and validate risk measurement models for market risk, credit, market , liquidity risk , operational and non-financial risks
· Create design artifacts for clients by bringing good Endur package expertise and relevant business, Subject matter expertise to the table.
· Provide leadership in every phase of the project lifecycle—from concept development to solution design, implementation, optimization, and support.
· Utilize a deep understanding of Endur design principles and configurations in creating a solution for the client.
· Contribute to designing and implementing the build, and release process as well as system configuration and deployment characteristics of the application.
· Contact person for the technological aspect on the client side.
· People Management, Estimation, Planning, Work Allocation, etc. Drive continuous improvements within teams. Also responsible for technical and professional growth of Endur package teams.
· Applies their understanding of the limits of the tool and discusses the tradeoffs in the design phase vs. implementation.
· Work with client’s technology lead for design and implementation work.
· Conduct policy and framework development and reviews across all risk categories in line with industry benchmarks and regulatory expectations
· Assist in development of client proposals, thought papers and adhoc research
Below skillset is desirable:
- 7-10 years of overall professional experience. Candidate must have performed the role of an Endur Business Analyst / architect for 1-2 years in the implementation and management of extensive design and implementation projects in Endur
- Experience of at least 3-4 ‘live’ Endur projects with hands-on experience in OpenJVS or OpenComponents
- Should understand the Endur Architecture and devise ways to optimize its strengths for the client solution. Understands hosted solution patterns – on-premises vs cloud
- Hands-on experience in creating design deliverables and solution architect documents.
- Fair understanding of the ETRM/CTRM domain with experience in at least two asset classes e.g. Power, Natural Gas, LNG, crude and products, etc.
- Experience working on other ETRM/CTRM packages e.g. right angle allegro, aspect, eka, etc
- Understanding of Agile scrum and Kanban methodologies. Participated actively in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, retro, sprint refinement, etc
- Understanding of concepts like CI/CD and Dev Ops Experience in writing queries involving multiple tables, self-joins, inner and outer joins, inner queries, groups by functions, etc.
- Understand and use OO design principles to create modular, extensible, and reusable code
- Fair understanding of the ETRM/CTRM domain with experience in at least one asset class e.g. Power, Natural Gas, LNG, crude and products, etc.
- Understands the data model of Endur and is aware of key tables and columns.
- Should be clear about configurations needed to support front, mid and back-office processes Basic understanding of any cloud systems and cloud concepts – Azure, AWS, GCP
- Basic understanding of Agile scrum and Kanban methodologies. Participated actively in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, retro, sprint refinement, etc
Qualifications
· Preferably MBA or equivalent Master's degree
· Knowledge of risk management and regulatory areas would be preferred eg. Market risk, Credit Risk, Stress Testing, Capital Management, ICAAP, Risk Based Supervision, Risk Modelling, Analytics
· Professional certifications like CA, CFA and FRM would be highly desirable
· Knowledge of programming on SAS, R, Python would be desirable
