Senior Private Cloud Engineer / Lead (6–9 Years) Senior Private Cloud Engineer / Lead (6–9 Years Experience) Role: L3 Engineer / Technical Lead Role Summary Leads design validation, sizing, and end-to-end implementation of Private Cloud platforms. Owns solution build, migrations, and operational excellence. Guides junior engineers and interacts with customers. Key Responsibilities • Perform cloud assessment and capacity planning • Design compute, storage, network, and virtualization architecture • Size environments based on workloads (CPU, RAM, IOPS, throughput) • Deploy clusters and automate provisioning • Implement DR and backup strategies (RPO/RTO based) • Lead POCs and migrations to Private Cloud • Implement container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes) • Create HLD/LLD and operational procedures • Drive performance tuning and optimization • Mentor L2 engineers Required Skills • Strong in: o SDDC architecture principles o VMware/Nutanix cluster design o Storage design (IOPS modelling, tiering) o Networking (leaf-spine, VXLAN, NSX concepts) o Backup & DR architecture o Linux/Windows server engineering • Hands-on automation (Ansible/Terraform/PowerCLI) • Container orchestration (OpenShift/Kubernetes) • Troubleshooting complex infra issues Experience • 6–9 years infrastructure/virtualization/cloud • 3–4 years in architecture or design roles Certifications (Preferred) • VCAP / Nutanix NCP / RHCE / CKA
