Learn more about Strategy & Transactions Your work profileAs a Manager (ESG) in our Sustainability team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and drive business development initiatives across ESG service areas, including opportunity identification, pipeline building, and conversion. Own and oversee the end-to-end proposal development process and client pitches, leveraging global credentials and tailoring solutions to client requirements. Build and manage strong client relationships to drive account growth and cross-selling opportunities. Lead the development of Thought Leadership (TLs) and Point of View (PoV) documents by guiding teams on primary and secondary research. Provide strategic market insights and sector intelligence to strengthen go-to-market positioning and enhance overall service differentiation. The responsibilities of this role may include: ·      Project Delivery and Client Managemento   Lead end-to-end execution of ESG engagements including ESG reporting, GHG accounting, climate risk assessments, and ESG due diligence, ensuring quality and timely deliveryo   Oversee project planning, resource allocation, review of deliverables, and risk management across multiple engagementso   Provide technical guidance on ESG frameworks including GRI, BRSR, TCFD, CDP, IFC Performance Standards and GHG Protocolo   Manage project teams, mentor junior members, and drive capability building within the practiceo   Serve as a key client interface, managing day-to-day stakeholder communication and ensuring alignment with project objectiveso   Build strong client relationships through strategic advisory support and proactive issue resolutiono   Identify opportunities for account expansion, cross-selling, and repeat business within existing clients ·      Business Developmento   Lead business development across ESG offerings, including opportunity identification, pipeline creation, and conversiono   Own end-to-end proposal development, including solutioning, pricing, and client presentations Key skills required: In order to be considered for the role, your competencies will cover the broad scope of business modelling services, leveraging your professional background and skills such as:·      Practitioner with 7+ years of experience in ESG, or Climate & Sustainability role·      Prior experience in driving client engagements and programs.·      Global project delivery experience ·      Stellar academic credentials – Masters (MSc/ BE/ ME) – Engineering / Environmental / Chemical/ Environmental Science; additional ESG / S&C related certifications from GRI, SASB, TCFD, or any other regulatory body preferred.·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word)·      Out-of-box thinking and an inclination for problem solving·      Keen business acumen and general awareness of the overall business environment, understanding the broader context in which project delivery impacts business performance·      Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (written & verbal), able to build relationships and communicate effectively to positively influence peers and other stakeholders·      Willingness to take initiative, learn independently, and share knowledge/experience with others; a fast learner who can adapt to a dynamic ESG / Climate & Sustainability landscape quickly, and can keep oneself updated with ESG innovations.·      Knowledge and/or experience leading projects in key topics / areas of ESG, including Climate & Sustainability·      In-depth knowledge of ESG ratings, ESG Due Diligence, climate risk, energy efficiency, and decarbonization·      Willingness to travel·      Excellent technical writing skills·      Language skills (excellent written and spoken English skills).·      Cross sectoral understanding with deeper marketing skills with client centric approach·      Should have strong advisory experience across geographies, with proven experience of leading high-performance teams ·      This profile does not involve extensive travel for work.·      Hybrid is our default way of working.
