Job Title:  Manager | Finance & Accounts Lead | Bengaluru | Finance & Accounts

 

As the Finance Manager for Modern operate and staff augmentation business, you will be responsible for leading the financial strategy, financial performance management and working with Deloitte Shared Services for the business unit in India. You will play a key role in driving financial performance, optimizing operational efficiency, and providing strategic leadership to ensure financial alignment with the organizational goals. 

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on growth and profitability, while leveraging scale and expertise of Deloitte South Asia Finance Leadership. 

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating closely with senior management and operational teams to ensure financial forecasts are aligned with business strategies, with the overall Deloitte South Asia Framework. 

  • Financial Analysis: 

  • Conduct variance analysis and expense reviews, directly contributing to the identification of cost-saving opportunities. 

  • Perform the actual calculations, and deep analysis, and not just review analysis. 

  • Statistical Analysis: Directly analyze headcount, utilization, and other statistical data, translatingfindings into actionable recommendations. 

  • Reconciliation & Control: Oversee profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring data integrity. 

  • Coordination with Deloitte India Shared ServicesClosely work with the Shared Services on the various finance activities such as 

  • Accounting processes: Billing, reconciliations, payments, and compliance with tax regulations such as GST and TDS. Ensure that the financial records are accurate, transparent, and timely. 

  • Financial Reporting & Governance: Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and compliance with regulatory requirements. 

  • Risk Management: Implement strategies to proactively manage financial risks, including managing currency fluctuations, credit risk, and other macroeconomic factors that may affect business operations. 

  • Treasury: Manage banking relationships, payments, and cash flows. 

  • Investment and Funding: Evaluate investment opportunities and manage fundraising initiatives to support business expansion. 

  • Team Leadership: Develop and manage a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

  • Financial Expertise: In-depth knowledge of financial accounting, corporate finance, and cash management. 

  • Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and execute strategic financial plans.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:Maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders such as auditors, tax consultants, regulatory authorities, and investors. Ensure that the company’s financial health is transparent and well communicated. 

  • Financial Systems & Technology: Proficient in key financial systems and technologies such as SAP and Excel, with a strong ability to leverage financial tools to optimize reporting, automate processes, and enhance operational efficiency. 

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
