Finance PM – Manager Role
· SME Project Management capability with experience of working in large-scale programmes and projects.
· Proven track record of successful project delivery with quantifiable business benefits within the Finance business domain, with specific experience of Financial Reporting, MI, GL / SL implementations and / or complex programmes.
· SME experience of Project delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall and other tailored implementation approaches – with industry standard qualifications (preferred).
· SME knowledge of finance systems such as Oracle Fusion, TM1, Saracen and other global, regional or local systems- along with the processes they support.
· Knowledge of Cloud services and their application within Finance.
· Understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behaviours, processes and objectives.
· Relevant knowledge of the Group’s Finance function in multiple locations.
· Solid leadership skills with experience in directly or indirectly managing people in a large matrix organisation, including successful experience in developing and retaining critical talent.
· Ability to work in fast-paced environment with proven ability to handle multiple deliverables with, at times, conflicting priorities.
· Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to facilitate stakeholders through decisions, consult effectively with them, influence them and with excellent conflict management skills.
· Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with proven experience of communicating effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group in a complex global environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams).
· Strong desire and proven ability to comprehend complexities, challenges, opportunities and solutions offered by systems and various digital tools.
