Job Title:  Manager | Full Stack - React + Java / Kotlin | Bengaluru | Engineering

Key Responsibilities & Objectives

Design and build backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot, deployed on AWS and Kubernetes

Implement event-driven workflows and real-time pipelines with Apache Kafka

Contribute frontend features using React, Next.js, and TypeScript when needed

Write secure, well-tested code across backend services and frontend components; participate in code reviews and pair programming

Work in a modern Agile environment, delivering customer value with a regular cadence

Basic Requirements & Experience Expectations

4-year degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field

8+ years of professional software development experience with a track record of delivering production-grade systems

Strong Java and Spring Boot experience building production microservices

Hands-on Kafka experience: schema management, consumer group coordination, and integration patterns

AWS and Kubernetes experience, including managed services such as RDS, S3, EKS, and Lambda

Working knowledge of React, Next.js, and TypeScript sufficient to contribute to frontend features

Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases

Experience with Git and modern branching/code review practices

Familiarity with modern development practices: testing, code reviews, and framework/library usage

Additional Skills/Preferences

Exposure to life sciences, pharmaceutical, or regulated industry environments is a plus

Experience applying AI/ML techniques to solve engineering problems

Experience working across organizational and geographic boundaries

Strong communication skills

Strong teamwork, self-management, and problem-solving abilities
