Role Overview 

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Engineering Manager to lead high-performing engineering teams in designing, developing, and delivering scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise across Python, Java, and React, combined with strong people leadership, stakeholder management, and client engagement capabilities. 

This role requires a balance of technical leadership, team management, delivery excellence, and strategic collaboration with clients and business stakeholders to drive successful outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities 

Engineering Leadership 

• Lead, mentor, and grow engineering teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. 
• Provide technical guidance and architectural oversight for solutions built using Python, Java, and React technologies. 
• Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, design reviews, and SDLC governance. 
• Ensure high-quality software delivery through effective planning, execution, and risk management. 

Team Management 

• Manage and develop engineering talent through coaching, performance management, and career development initiatives. 
• Build and maintain high-performing, motivated, and collaborative teams. 
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. 
• Support hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning activities. 

Client & Stakeholder Management 

• Act as the primary engineering point of contact for clients and key stakeholders. 
• Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 
• Drive regular governance meetings, status reporting, and executive communications. 
• Build trusted relationships with clients and ensure alignment between business objectives and engineering execution. 

Delivery & Program Management 

• Own delivery commitments and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and with high quality. 
• Manage project risks, dependencies, resource allocation, and escalations. 
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Product Management, QA, Architecture, and Operations. 
• Drive Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives. 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

Must-Have Technical Skills 

• Strong hands-on experience in:  
• Python 
• Java 
• React 
• Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications. 
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern DevOps practices. 

Leadership & Management Skills 

• Proven experience managing engineering teams and leading large-scale technology initiatives. 
• Strong people management, mentoring, and talent development skills. 
• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities. 

Client & Stakeholder Management 

• Extensive experience managing client relationships and executive stakeholders. 
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. 
• Ability to influence senior leadership and drive alignment across multiple teams. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. 
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and automation practices. 
• Experience managing distributed and global teams. 
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
