Role: AI Data Center Architect
Role Overview
The AI Data Center Architect leads the end-to-end architectural design of next-generation AI-optimized data centers by integrating IT infrastructure with advanced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems. The role is responsible for defining scalable, sustainable, and high-performance reference architectures capable of supporting extreme AI compute densities.

Architecture & Design Leadership
- Define AI data center reference architectures for:
- On-premises deployments
- Hybrid environments
- Colocation deployments
- Architect facilities supporting 50–150+ kW/rack AI workloads
- Collaborate with IT architects to align compute, network, storage, and facility infrastructure
MEP Architecture & Engineering
- Design power delivery systems including:
- N, N+1, and 2N redundancy models
- Grid interconnects
- Substation design
- On-site power generation
- Architect next-generation cooling systems:
- Direct-to-chip liquid cooling
- Rear-door heat exchangers
- Immersion cooling
- Define standards for:
- Plumbing systems
- Water reuse
- Heat rejection systems
Standards, Governance & Vendor Strategy
- Establish enterprise-wide data center design standards
- Evaluate and select electrical, mechanical, and cooling vendors
- Ensure compliance with global standards and regional regulations
AI-Driven Scale & Sustainability
- Design for rapid scalability and modular expansion
- Embed sustainability principles including:
- Net-zero readiness
- Renewable integration
