Your work profile

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-wide Disaster Recovery strategies, frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Risk Assessments to identify critical business services and recovery requirements.
  • Define and maintain Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs), Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs), and recovery strategies.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute DR exercises, failover testing, tabletop exercises, and recovery validation activities.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Security, and Application teams to ensure DR readiness.
  • Identify gaps in recovery capabilities and drive remediation plans.
  • Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) for critical business functions.
  • Facilitate business continuity workshops and awareness programs across departments.
  • Ensure BCM framework aligns with organizational risk management objectives.
  • Support crisis management and incident response activities during business disruptions.
  • Monitor and report BCM and DR program effectiveness using established KPIs and metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and industry requirements related to BCM and DR.
  • Support internal and external audits, including evidence collection and remediation tracking.
  • Maintain BCM and DR documentation, standards, process maps, and runbooks.
  • Work with stakeholders to establish resilience strategies for critical services.
  • Partner with business leaders, technology teams, risk management, information security, and third-party vendors.
  • Provide regular updates and executive reporting on program maturity, risks, and testing outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams during crisis events and recovery activities.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, IT Risk Management, or Operational Resilience.
  • Strong understanding of DR methodologies, BCM frameworks, and operational resilience principles.
  • Experience conducting BIA, risk assessments, and DR testing.
  • Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), networking, and data center operations.
  • Experience working with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs.

  • CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional)
  • ISO 22301 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor
  • MBCI (Member of Business Continuity Institute)
  • PMP or Prince2
  • CRISC, CISM, CISSP (preferred)
