Key Responsibilities:
Windows Server & Clustering Management (Primary Focus)
• Windows, Clustering, Patching, AD, DNS, OVM, Vmware, Azure
• Lead design, implementation, and administration of Windows Server Failover Clusters (WSFC) for high availability of critical applications (Hyper-V clusters, file clusters, SQL clusters, etc.).
• Monitor cluster health, quorum configurations, failover operations, and performance tuning.
• Perform incident management and troubleshooting for cluster failures, node issues, heartbeat/configuration issues, and failover behaviors. Core Windows Infrastructure Operations
• Manage Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022) including installation, upgrades, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Oversee Active Directory administration including domain controllers, replication, FSMO roles, Group Policy, OU management, and identity lifecycle operations.
• Ensure smooth operations of core services — DNS, DHCP, DFS, NPS, Certificate Services, f ile & print services.
• Lead capacity planning, resource allocation, and performance optimization for server and domain workloads. Patching & Compliance
• Drive Windows patching cycles including monthly patching schedules, testing, deployment validation, and exception management.
• Manage WSUS/SCCM or other patch automation tools for large-scale deployments.
• Ensure compliance with security baselines, vulnerability remediation, and audit requirements. Operations, Incident & Problem Management
• Lead L2/L3 escalations for Windows/AD/Cluster incidents; ensure timely RCA, resolution, and documentation.
• Oversee backup/restore operations, DR readiness, and health checks for domain controllers and cluster nodes.
• Manage service tickets, SLA tracking, and continual improvement of processes based on ITIL practices. Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Windows administrators and support engineers.
• Develop SOPs, best practices, technical guidance, and skill development plans for team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — network, virtualization, security, apps, cloud — for integrated infrastructure operations.
• Support project delivery including migrations, upgrades, automation initiatives, and capacity expansion. Automation & Modernization
• Contribute to PowerShell scripting, automation of operational tasks, and dashboard/report creation.
• Support modernization initiatives such as AD hardening, cluster migrations, OS upgrades, and hybrid cloud integrations. Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Windows Server administration and infrastructure operations.
• Strong expertise in Windows Failover Clustering — configuration, troubleshooting, quorum, storage, and HA best practices.
• Deep understanding of Active Directory, security policies, GPOs, domain replication, and identity lifecycle.
• Strong working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, DFS, and core Windows infrastructure services.
• Experience with patching tools such as WSUS, SCCM, or third-party solutions.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware) and basic networking concepts.
• Familiarity with backup/DR tools and Windows security hardening standards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to lead complex incident troubleshooting.
• Experience working within ITIL-based environments (Incident, Change, Problem).
Good to have
• PowerShell scripting for automation and operational efficiency.
• Exposure to hybrid AD / Azure AD / cloud identity solutions.
• Experience with enterprise configuration tools (SCCM/Intune).
• Knowledge of certificate services, PKI, and domain security frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as MCSA / MCSE, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, ITIL Foundation. to have

Your work profile
We are seeking an experienced Wintel Lead to manage and oversee the enterprise Windows infrastructure environment across multiple data centers and hybrid IT setups. This is a manager level, hands-on technical leadership role responsible for ensuring availability, performance, security, and lifecycle management of Windows Server environments and related core services. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth in Windows Server administration, Failover Clustering, Active Directory, and infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, Group Policy), along with leadership capabilities to guide an operations team, drive best practices, and lead modernization initiatives.
Desired qualifications
• Microsoft certifications (MCSA / MCSE / Azure Administrator / Windows Server Hybrid Administrator).
• Experience in Managed Services or large enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Understanding of security frameworks, endpoint protection, and compliance standards. ave
