Job Title:  Manager | Mainframe | Bengaluru | Engineering

Mainframe Technical Architect to design and present Mainframe Modernization and Cloud Migration solutions.

Role Requirements:

·       10-15 years of experience in Mainframe Development , Modernization, knowledge on Legacy applications transformation & modernization In depth knowledge of Mainframe technology including hardware, OS, programming languages, and databases Certified on Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or Google)

·       Experienced with responding to RFPs and proposals related to the technical area of expertise.

·       Strong experience in mainframe systems and strong knowledge on COBOL,JCL,DB2,CICS,IDMS and development experience.

·       Experience presenting to customers in online and offline mode Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors) Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills.

·       Responsibilities: Work closely on mainframe modernization and cloud migration solutions Design and architect the solutions to meet customer requirements.

·       Conduct assessments to identify the Customer modernization needs and prepare ROMs

·       Present technical topics in online, offline mode in various company and partner events

·       Conduct demos on tools and solutions to Customers and Partners Assist with the development and review of case studies, blogs and other technical content

Mainframe modernization experience.

·       Must have Cloud or Java knowledge.

·       Mainframe Migration project exposure is required where working knowledge of migration tools like rocket software, AWS blue age etc is expected.

·       Candidate should be certified in entry level cloud certifications.

·       Prepare technical content, scope of work and pricing estimates for RFPs,

·       Technology: Mainframe Hardware : zSeries (z15, z14, z13, z12EC/BC, etc.) Programming Languages : COBOL, JCL, REXX, .NET, VSAM, PL/1, VB, PHP, Natural, Assembler and Java. Databases : DB2, IMS, SQL Server, Postgres, Oracle, others. IBM Software: z/OS, CICS, DB2, zVM, zLinux, IMS, IDMS, RACF ISV (Third Party Products): CA, Compuware, BMC, ASG, Monitoring and scheduling tools, etc.

·       Cloud Certifications : Architect-level Certifications preferred on any of the Cloud Platforms

·       Proven experience with legacy migration tools e.g. BluAge, Astadia, Microfocus, Rocket Software, mLogica, Heirloom is expected.

·       Experience on mainframe tools like IBM cloud, ZoS connect, Watson, API creation etc.
