Your work profile

 

As Manager in our Tax Technology Consulting team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Quality Lead to join our team. The Quality Lead will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and quality control within projects. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Provides QA leadership for the product testing organization.
  • Focuses upon long-term solutions and improvements to product testing processes, automation, frameworks/tools. 
  • Work closely with Business teams and product development teams to ensure right test coverage.
  • Review testing process in product teams, and work with them to align around the best practices
  • As test manager , proficient in authoring test strategy and test plans
  • Identify and plug gaps in test coverage based on metrics
  • Maintain defect triage process and continuous defect reviews.
  • Responsible for closure of testing activities, including sign-off and documentation.
  • Experience in preparing reports on test results, defects, test coverage, and overall quality metrics.
  • Resolves problems, extends, and modifies testing techniques, and/or applies new, innovative techniques to analyze and evaluate test engineering problems.
  • Responsible for managing, coaching, and mentoring team members.
  • Managing stakeholders across other groups including but not limited to developers, technical operations, product management and support.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality assurance and compliance
  • Promote culture, process, accountability, and discipline.

Requirements and skills

  • Years of Experience: 7-10 years in Software Quality and Testing.
  • More than 3 years’ experience managing and leading quality engineering teams.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role in Cloud SaaS applications
  • Solid understanding of software development processes, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release management/version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management.
  • Experience in defect management, QA process, and methodology.
  • Experience working in fast paced Agile environments with working knowledge of Scrum principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
  • Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. ALM, JIRA, Azure DevOps) and SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills, written & speaking.
  • Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of people.
  • Certifications such as ISTQB or Scrum are desirable.
