The team
The Deloitte South Asia strategic growth team serves as a central pillar driving growth and transformation within DSA, spanning several business lines and various technology functions. We are established as a centralized team collaborating across consulting, implementation, and operation to maintain and enhance client value offerings and services. We innovate conventional approaches, leveraging Deloitte technology, differentiated domain expertise, intellectual property, talent, and capacity to embed continuous advantage and deliver enhanced business value.
In this team, our focus is on catering to the unique needs and preferences of clients in the South Asia region. Your role within this dynamic team is essential for establishing networks and relationships across the client stakeholder ecosystem and ensuring service fulfillment. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other Deloitte leadership and stakeholders dedicated to the client. Your contributions will involve nurturing new and existing relationships, supporting presales life cycles, and playing a pivotal role in driving the success of DSA business growth for the specific client.

Your work profile
Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud Infrastructure Engineering
- Design, deploy, and manage OCI compute, storage, networking, and platform services.
- Implement and maintain VCNs, subnets, DRGs, LPGs, Internet Gateways, NAT Gateways, and routing components.
- Deploy scalable compute using OCI Compute instances, OKE (Oracle Kubernetes Engine), Functions.
- Manage OCI storage services including Block Volumes, Object Storage, File Storage, Archive Storage.
2. Security, Identity & Governance
- Implement secure access using OCI IAM, dynamic groups, policies, compartments, tagging, and governance.
- Configure Vault, KMS keys, secrets management, certificate management, and security boundaries.
- Apply network security through NSGs, Security Lists, WAF, Cloud Guard, and vulnerability assessments.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory cloud security requirements.
3. High Availability, DR & Reliability
- Design HA and DR architectures using Fault Domains, Availability Domains, Multi-Region deployments.
- Implement automated backup, recovery, and cross-region failover mechanisms.
- Monitor performance, reliability, and health of cloud infrastructure using OCI Monitoring, Alarms, Logging.
4. Automation & Infrastructure-as-Code
- Build infrastructure automation using Terraform, Resource Manager, or Ansible.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure releases using Git-based workflows.
- Automate provisioning, patching, scaling, and compliance tasks.
5. Operational Excellence
- Lead troubleshooting of complex cloud, network, or platform issues.
- Optimize resource performance, availability, and cost (FinOps).
- Implement observability practices including alerting, dashboards, log analysis, and telemetry.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams.
6. Collaboration & Leadership
- Work with architects to translate design requirements into implementation plans.
- Partner with application, DBA, and security teams for end-to-end solution delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cloud engineering best practices.
- Lead POCs, migrations, and modernization initiatives on OCI.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–10 years of experience in Cloud / Infrastructure engineering roles.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in OCI environments.
- Strong expertise in OCI networking (VCN, DRG, IPsec VPN, DNS, Load Balancers).
- Strong automation experience with Terraform, ORM, Bash/Python scripting.
- Good understanding of HA/DR, fault domains, and multi-region architecture.
- Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and cloud operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- OCI Architect Associate / Professional certification preferred.
- Experience with OCI-based migrations, hybrid architectures, or multi-cloud environments.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or container orchestration (OKE).
- Familiarity with database cloud services such as Autonomous Database or Oracle DBaaS.
