Your work profile

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in advanced debugging across SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently analyzing and resolving complex technical issues, supporting functional teams in root cause analysis, and delivering robust solutions across batch jobs, ABAP programs, interfaces, APIs, and Fiori applications. Experience in SAP BRIM debugging will be a strong added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth debugging of:
• Batch jobs and background processes
• Custom and standard ABAP programs
• Backend ABAP code
• APIs, IDocs, RFCs, and other interfaces
• SAP Fiori/UI5 applications (frontend and backend OData services)
• Analyze dumps, performance issues, update failures, and integration errors.
• Support functional consultants in identifying root causes and proposing technical solutions.
• Work extensively on RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
• Troubleshoot and debug complex integration scenarios involving middleware and third-party systems.
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of critical issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer to team members.

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP with expert-level debugging skills.
• Proven ability to debug:
• Background jobs (SM37, update debugging, system debugging)
• Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements Framework)
• Interfaces (IDoc, Proxy, RFC, Web Services, APIs)
• Very good knowledge of RICEFW objects.
• Experience in Fiori debugging (UI5, OData, Gateway, backend breakpoints).
• Solid understanding of SAP architecture and cross-module integration.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with functional and business teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key skills required: 

• Hands-on experience in SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) debugging.
• Exposure to performance optimization and memory analysis.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong ownership mindset and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work in a hybrid delivery model and support Pan-India stakeholders.
