Your work profile

• AOLAP Workspace Management: Create, configure, and manage interactive OLAP workspaces within the SAP BI launch pad.
• Data Exploration: Utilize features such as slice/dice, drill-down, and filtering to help business users analyze multidimensional data.
• Data Integration: Seamlessly connect AOLAP reports to multi-dimensional sources, including SAP BW (Business Warehouse) cubes, BEx Queries, and SAP HANA views.
• Dashboarding & Visualization: Build graphical representations and sub-analyses using charts and crosstabs to provide an intuitive, dashboard-like experience.
• Security & Governance: Collaborate with the SAP Basis team to manage user access, roles, and row-level security within the SAP BusinessObjects platform.
• User Enablement: Provide training, support, and documentation for business users to ensure they can independently leverage the OLAP viewer for ad-hoc queries.
• Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot and optimize query performance, ensuring fast data retrieval and smooth rendering of large multi-dimensional datasets.

Key skills required

• 5+ years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects (BI/BO), with hands-on expertise in AOLAP, Web Intelligence, and the SAP BI launch pad.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BW, especially BEx Queries; experience connecting AOLAP reports to BW cubes and SAP HANA views is required.
• Proficiency in multidimensional data analysis techniques including slice/dice, drill-down, and filtering within OLAP environments.
• Experience building dashboards, charts, and crosstab reports within SAP BusinessObjects for business-facing analytics delivery.
• Knowledge of SAP Basis security concepts, including user access management, roles, and row-level security within the BusinessObjects platform.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize query performance for large multidimensional datasets; strong user training and documentation skills preferred.
