We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM), RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), and Secure Cloud Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and securing enterprise-grade applications on SAP BTP while ensuring adherence to SAP best practices, security standards, and cloud-native development principles.

Key Responsibilities

SAP BTP Development

  • Design, develop, and deploy applications on SAP BTP.
  • Build scalable and secure cloud-native applications using:
  • SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
  • SAP RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
  • SAP Fiori/UI5
  • SAP Build Applications
  • SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)
  • Develop and expose:
  • OData V4 Services
  • REST APIs
  • Event-Driven Services
  • Microservices-based Architectures
  • Implement reusable and extensible application frameworks.

SAP CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model)

  • Design and develop CAP-based applications using:
  • Node.js
  • Java
  • CDS (Core Data Services)
  • Create:
  • Data Models
  • Service Layers
  • Business Logic Services
  • Event Handlers
  • Integrate CAP applications with:
  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP SuccessFactors
  • SAP Ariba
  • SAP IBP
  • Third-Party Applications
  • Develop side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA.

SAP RAP Development

  • Design and develop RAP-based applications in S/4HANA environments.
  • Build:
  • Business Objects
  • CDS Views
  • Behavior Definitions
  • Service Definitions
  • Service Bindings
  • Develop Fiori Elements applications using RAP architecture.
  • Optimize RAP applications for performance and scalability.
  • Implement draft-enabled and unmanaged/managed RAP scenarios.

Secure Cloud Development

  • Implement SAP BTP security best practices.
  • Configure and manage:
  • SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS)
  • Identity Provisioning Service (IPS)
  • XSUAA Authentication & Authorization
  • OAuth 2.0
  • SAML Authentication
  • Role Collections
  • Trust Configurations
  • Ensure secure development practices including:
  • Secure Coding Standards
  • Vulnerability Assessments
  • Code Reviews

  • Secrets Management
  • Conduct security and compliance reviews for cloud applications.

Integration & Extension Development
