Your work profile

The role will be responsible for driving application development, managing a team of up to 10 analysts and developers, leading enhancement initiatives, and ensuring the stability and continuous improvement of business-critical analytics solutions.

The application landscape includes SAP BW 7.5 on HANA, SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Integrated Planning (IP), and multiple enterprise integrations leveraging Kafka, Talend, APIs, and other data platforms.

This role requires a balance of technical understanding, people leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery ownership to support both project and application development objectives.

Application Development Leadership

Lead end-to-end delivery of application development, enhancement, and transformation initiatives.

Drive solution design, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare activities.

Manage enhancement backlogs and prioritize delivery in alignment with business needs.

Ensure compliance with development standards, architecture guidelines, and governance processes.

Oversee release planning and deployment activities.

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor a team of up to 10 developers, analysts, and consultants.

Drive resource planning, work allocation, and delivery governance across the team.

Support hiring, onboarding, capability development, and performance management.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and delivery leaders.

Facilitate requirement discussions, planning workshops, and governance forums.

Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to leadership.

Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on priorities.

Integration & Data Platform Experience

Key skills required

8-12 years of experience in SAP BW on HANA and enterprise analytics environments.

Minimum 2-4 years of experience leading technical teams and delivery engagements.

Strong analytical aptitude and ownership mindset.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Mandatory Technical Skills

SAP BW 7.5 on HANA

SAP BusinessObjects (WebI, Scheduling, Publications)

SAP BEx Query Design

SAP Integrated Planning (BW-IP)

ABAP Debugging for BW-related issues

BW Data Modeling (InfoObjects, ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open Hub, Process Chains)

Data Extraction and Integration

SDLC and Release Management

Agile Delivery Methodologies

Preferred Skills

Experience delivering analytics solutions in complex multi-application environments.

Exposure to SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or cloud analytics platforms.

Understanding of data architecture and performance optimization techniques.

Experience in global delivery and distributed team models.

Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and release management practices.

Exposure to cloud platforms and modern data engineering concepts.

Desired qualifications:

• CA/MBA/MCA/ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
