Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Data Archiving (BIT650) and Information Lifecycle Management (ILM – BIT660).
• In-depth understanding of SAP data volume management and data retention policies.
• Expertise in archiving configuration, storage management, and retention rule setup.
• Experience in ILM implementation — policies, retention management, residence rules, and data destruction.
• Knowledge of compliance and GDPR-related data handling within SAP systems.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA environments and integration with external storage systems (OpenText, etc.).
• Ability to analyze system data growth, plan archiving strategies, and optimize system performance.
• Hands-on experience with Archive Information Systems (AIS) and transaction management (SARA, ILMSTORE).

Preferred Training / Certification: SAP Certified – Data Archiving (BIT650), SAP Certified – ILM (BIT660)

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Capability to work collaboratively across business and IT teams.

Desired qualifications

• Graduate degree (Science or Engineering)
