As a Manager in SAP TEAM Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -
Role Summary
The primary role is to make immediate, direct contributions to enhancing our clients’ competitive position and performance in ways that are distinctive, innovative, and sustainable.
Ideal Candidate Attributes for Logistics Team
- S/4HANA Expertise - Hands-on experience one or several modules like EWM, SCM, MM in S/4HANA.
- Industry Knowledge - Familiarity with 3PL operations, logistics workflows, and supply chain best practices.
- Integration Awareness - Understanding API-based integrations, including error handling and system synchronisation.
- Project Experience - Multiple full-cycle S/4HANA implementations, particularly involving use of API’s and Idocs and 3PL integrations.
- Certification - SAP certifications in relevant modules (e.g., EWM, MM) are highly desirable.
- Process Optimisation Skills - Demonstrated ability to streamline and improve logistics and supply chain processes.
- Team Collaboration - Proven ability to work cross-functionally across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Documentation and Training - Skilled in preparing functional specifications, user manuals, and conducting testing and training.
Required Skills
Skills + Technical ability required
- Experience internal workflows (Signavio) and documentation
- Master data understanding - e.g. Material master, Partner functions, batches, serialization
- Self-sufficient ability to create test data for different scenario testing
- Experience in defect logging during SIT and UAT using ALM/qTest
- Root cause analysis across systems in case of error/troubleshoot (debugging)
- SIT & UAT experience in writing test scripts to cover all business scenarios for positive and negative tests
- Confident with logistics landscape and understand different scenarios
- Intercompany/cross-border processes
- Direct, advanced and consignment returns
- Ensure condition tables, records, procedures, output types, access sequences, etc. are configured correctly to fetch fields for customs + return forms
In addition to Logistics landscape, strong technical understanding and API concepts to;
- Test data set up
- Odata and SOAP structure knowledge
- Trigger inbound/outbound payloads
- Understand integration timing dependencies
- Understand API error handling and reprocessing concepts - work with developer to troubleshoot
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Logistics (EWM + MM + SCM) in S/4HANA (configuration and implementation.)
- Ability to work independently and manage deliverables.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Desired qualifications
- Bachelors: Commerce/ Science / Engineering background from a premier institute preferred.
- Experience Required: 7 - 14 years in SAP Logistics (MM, EWM, SCM)
- Relevant experience of 8+ years
