Your work profile
Manage a defined portfolio of IT applications and services as part of the end-to-end IT Service Portfolio Management (ITSPM) process.
Continuously evaluate how the IT application and service portfolio enables key business processes from an enterprise-wide perspective.
Assess the impact of new business initiatives on the application portfolio and provide strategic insights to optimize the application landscape and associated investments.
Execute annual and ad hoc portfolio assessments and develop application, service, and portfolio roadmaps.
Provide advanced-level input and recommendations within the assigned scope of work to support portfolio optimization and business objectives
Key skills required
- 6–10+ years of experience in IT Service Portfolio Management (ITSPM), IT Strategy, IT Governance, or Enterprise Portfolio Management.
- Strong understanding of IT Service Portfolio Management (ITSPM) processes, application portfolio management, and service lifecycle management.
- Experience managing enterprise application and service portfolios across multiple business functions.
- Proven ability to evaluate business requirements and align application portfolios with strategic business objectives.
- Experience in portfolio assessment, rationalization, roadmap development, and investment planning.
- Strong knowledge of IT governance, demand management, and technology portfolio optimization.
- Experience working with senior business stakeholders to define business cases, success metrics, KPIs, and benefit realization plans.
- Proven ability to lead medium-to-large projects, programs, or portfolios with moderate-to-high complexity and risk.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to provide strategic recommendations.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with enterprise architecture, ITSM, or ITIL frameworks will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with portfolio management and project management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Clarity PPM, Planview, or Microsoft Project is preferred.
- Education: BE/B.Tech/Any full-time graduation.
