Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Manager to lead SAP Sales & Distribution operations, implementation projects, enhancements, and support activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in SAP SD, stakeholder management skills, and experience leading teams in delivering business solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

SAP SD Functional Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end SAP SD implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
  • Manage business process design, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.
  • Configure SAP SD modules including:
  • Sales Order Management
  • Pricing
  • Shipping and Transportation
  • Billing
  • Credit Management
  • Output Determination
  • Returns and Complaints Processing

Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into SAP solutions and system improvements.
  • Ensure alignment of SAP processes with organizational goals and best practices.

Project & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor SAP SD consultants and support teams.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with global and cross-functional teams.

Integration Management

  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP SD with:
  • MM (Materials Management)
  • FI/CO (Finance & Controlling)
  • PP (Production Planning)
  • WM/EWM (Warehouse Management)
  • CRM and third-party applications

Support & Governance

  • Drive incident resolution and problem management activities.
  • Establish governance processes and adherence to SLAs.
  • Support audits, compliance requirements, and process documentation.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify automation and optimization opportunities.
  • Support SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
  • Stay updated on SAP best practices and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • SAP Certification in SD preferred.

Experience

  • 8-15 years of SAP SD experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of team management/leadership experience.
  • Experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Experience in at least 2-3 end-to-end implementation projects.

Technical Skills

  • SAP SD configuration expertise.
  • Pricing procedures and output determination.
  • ATP, availability check, shipping, billing, and credit management.
  • EDI/IDoc knowledge.
  • Integration with MM, FI, PP, and WM modules.
  • SAP Fiori and S/4HANA knowledge preferred.
