Your work profile 

The primary role is to make immediate, direct contributions to enhancing our clients’ competitive position and performance in ways that are distinctive, innovative, and sustainable. 

To do this, one must perform the following activities within the firm: 

 

SAP Transport Management professional should have :-

  • As a Functional Analyst – S4 HANA TM need to be responsible for identifying analyzing and documenting the business needs from the Shell business customers and other stakeholders and transform this into appropriate system solutions.
  • Should have an in-depth hands-on SAP S4 Supply Chain & Logistics Foundation experience, with specific knowledge in Transportation Management process area.
  • Should have practical experience in implementing S4 HANA TM, along with integration experience with other S4 HANA modules.
  • Exposure as Subject Matter Expert in Transportation & Logistics space, handling complex programs/projects in multi-culture environment.
  • Extensive expertise with SAP S/4HANA- TM functionalities such as forwarding order management, logistics integration, freight order management, freight planning, scheduling and other processes including integration with other S/4HANA modules such as MM, SD and FI.
  • Strong work experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM) module implementation, configuration, and optimization.
  • Have strength and depth in delivery and configuration expertise for the following:
  • TM Enterprise Structure
  • Freight Unit Building and Order/Booking Management
  • Load Planning Optimization & Manual and Optimizer Based Planning, Selection Profile, Planning Profile
  • Cockpit layout management
  • Carrier Selection, Subcontracting and Tendering
  • Transportation Management Execution
  • Charge Calculation and Settlement
  • Cost Distribution
  • Experience and knowledge of both Embedded and standalone deployment options is required.
  • Experience and knowledge of both Shipper and Third-Party Logistics Provider scenarios is required.
  • Experience and knowledge of load building, Event Management, PPF, BRF+, BOPF for BO, Nodes, Associations would be advantage.
  • Work with the Natural teams to achieve better collaboration & be a part of driving continuous improvements.
  • Process Adherence, BC compliance and participation in Audits.
  • To drive initiatives within the Competency Centre for continuous improvement & business value maximization. Identify and work with Shell Staff and Vendor Partners on Continuous Improvement Initiative, exploring ways to achieve Cost Savings for the Organization.

 

Desired qualifications 

  • Graduate degree (Science or Engineering) from premier institutes. 

  • Willingness to travel for short and long term durations. 

  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal). 

 

Location and way of working 

  • Base location: Pan India

  • This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
