Job Title:  Manager | SAP UI5/FIORI | Bengaluru | SAP

Job Summary:

As a Manager – SAP UI5/Fiori Techno-Functional Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of user-centric SAP applications using SAP UI5 and Fiori. Bridging functional processes with technical execution, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, scalable, and integrated solutions across S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Your role will span requirement gathering, UX design, development leadership, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP UI5/Fiori implementations across greenfield, brownfield, and hybrid SAP landscapes.
• Work as a techno-functional expert to gather requirements, translate them into user stories, and architect solutions aligned with best practices.
• Design and develop custom SAP Fiori apps using SAP UI5, OData, and BTP services (e.g., SAP CAP/RAP).
• Provide hands-on leadership in integrating Fiori apps with S/4HANA backend and other SAP modules.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business processes and identify opportunities for UX improvement.
• Manage and mentor teams of developers and consultants, ensuring adherence to clean code principles and UI/UX standards.
• Conduct performance tuning, accessibility enhancements, and UI testing using standard tools.
• Oversee the deployment and lifecycle management of Fiori applications on SAP Launchpad and BTP.
• Support pre-sales engagements, solution demos, and technical proposals for clients.
• Stay current with SAP UX roadmap, Fiori Elements, SAP Build Apps, and other emerging technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP environments with a strong focus on SAP UI5, Fiori, and OData services.
• Solid understanding of SAP modules (especially MM, SD, FI, PM, HR, etc.) from a functional perspective.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA, BTP, Fiori Launchpad, and SAP Gateway.
• Proficiency in ABAP (especially in CDS, BOPF, or RAP), JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong UX/UI design sensibility with a focus on usability, accessibility, and performance.
• Experience in Agile delivery models and familiarity with tools like JIRA, Git, and Jenkins.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client engagement skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with Fiori Elements, Smart Controls, and SAP Build Apps (Low-code/No-code tools).
• Exposure to SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming model) and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming).
• SAP certifications in UX/Fiori or S/4HANA are a strong plus.
• Experience in leading offshore/onsite teams in a global delivery model.
• Prior consulting experience in a Big Four or global systems integrator.
