Job descriptions - Senior Software Engineer ​

  • Software Engineering is responsible for the delivery of the software, which may include new development, configuration, maintenance and installation of third party packages, and software integration efforts. It may include tasks from every part of the software development lifecycle, including software and website design, development, programming, and software deployment (both the installation and decommissioning of software). ​
  • The Sr. Software Engineer role is within a growing Agile DevOps team for ServiceNow.​
  • The role will be responsible for the development and support of one or more ServiceNow landscape(s) and you will be the technical expert for the applications/modules in ServiceNow under your care.​
  • This role will closely operate between the Product owners and the DevOps members to effectively collaborate on the cross work stream stories and also plan for the dependent stories. ​
  • This role is also responsible for enhancing the integrated user story quality to meet the acceptable standards.​
  • The candidate should be experienced in ServiceNow administration, scripting, development and integration to support the ServiceNow Products and other associated IT solution(s) and should have working experience in at least 2 or more ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITBM, GRC, SecOps, Legal and ITOM). ​
  • The role requires a pro-active/independent, advocate and drive SDLC best practices recommended by the SE Organization. ​
  • Prior experience as a DevOps Lead is preferred.​

Educational Requirements/ technical certification/ accreditation:​

Good English communication skills both verbal and written​

Minimum Education or Certification: 4-year Degree related to IT or an equivalent​

Work Experience​

3-10 years of relevant ServiceNow software engineering experience​
