Job Title: Manager | ServiceNow Developer - ITOM / ITAM / GRC | Bengaluru | ServiceNow
Key Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements related to Event Management and IT Operations
Configure, customize, and enhance ServiceNow Event Management capabilities, including: Event ingestion and normalization
Alert management and deduplication
Correlation rules and policies
Integrate ServiceNow Event Management with third-party monitoring and observability tools (e.g., infrastructure, network, cloud, APM tools) using REST APIs, event connectors, and MID Servers
Design and implement alert correlation strategies to reduce event noise and enable actionable alerts
Configure Incident and Change integrations to enable automated ticket creation and lifecycle management from alerts
Develop automation using Flow Designer for: Automated incident creation and updates
Alert remediation and recovery workflows
CI and service impact updates
Work closely with CMDB and Service Mapping teams to ensure accurate CI and service context for events and alerts
Tune and optimize Event Management rules to improve performance, scalability, and accuracy
Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshooting: Event ingestion failures
Alert correlation issues
MID Server and integration problems
Performance and alert latency issues
Assist in ServiceNow upgrades, update set migrations, testing, and production deployments
Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and operational runbooks
Ensure implementations align with ServiceNow best practices, governance models, and ITIL standards
Collaborate with infrastructure, network, cloud, and operations teams to drive adoption and continuous improvement
