Your work profile

• Apply DevOps best practices to support application development and deployment.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Support application deployments across Azure environments (Dev, UAT, Prod).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Perform peer reviews for code, configurations, and pipeline changes.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with development, testing, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth delivery.

Typical Responsibilities (First 3–6 Months)

• Support CI/CD pipeline setup and enhancements
• Assist in Azure deployments and environment setup
• Participate in release and deployment activities
• Handle L2-level support issues for cloud environments
• Contribute to automation and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD & Automation

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using: Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts)
• GitHub Actions (preferred) Automate build, test, and deployment processes

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Provision and manage Azure infrastructure: Virtual Machines, App Services, Storage, Azure SQL
• Work with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform / ARM Templates / Bicep (basic to intermediate level)

Containers & Kubernetes

• Support containerized deployments using: Docker
• Kubernetes (AKS – basic exposure)
• Assist in deploying microservices using Helm or YAML configurations

Monitoring & Support

• Monitor applications using: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights
• Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues
• Support release cycles and production deployments

Security & Compliance

• Follow security best practices in pipelines and infrastructure
• Work with: Azure AD, RBAC (basic level)
• Manage secrets using Azure Key Vault

Key skills required

• Education: Any bachelor’s or master’s degree

• 2–4 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
• Hands‑on experience with: Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos) Git version control
• Basic knowledge of: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / ARM / Bicep)
• Familiarity with: Docker and Kubernetes concepts
• Scripting skills in: PowerShell / Bash / Python

Good to have

• Exposure to Azure services: App Service, AKS, Functions, Storage, SQL
• Understanding of: Git branching strategies (GitFlow / trunk-based)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Basic knowledge of DevSecOps practices
