About the Role

The Senior Quality Engineer (P3) is a technical leader responsible for designing test architecture, building shared automation frameworks, and driving quality strategy across the Identity domain. This role partners with engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable test solutions while mentoring junior engineers and influencing quality standards across multiple products and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance automation frameworks, shared utilities, and testing infrastructure.
• Architect scalable UI, API, and end-to-end testing solutions.
• Lead testing strategy for complex Identity features and user journeys.
• Develop reusable Page Object Models, API clients, and test data solutions.
• Design parallel execution, account management, and test lifecycle frameworks.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated quality gates, and reporting solutions.
• Define engineering standards, coding practices, and automation best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex failures across applications, APIs, infrastructure, and test environments.
• Mentor P1/P2 engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and platform teams to improve testability and quality.
• Drive AI-assisted testing, automation productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Advanced experience in Java, TypeScript, Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, and API Automation.
• Strong knowledge of automation architecture, design patterns, and framework development.
• Experience building scalable Page Object Models, API libraries, and shared test utilities.
• Expertise in parallel execution, test data management, retry strategies, and reliability engineering.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL, Spring Framework, OAuth, and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud-based automation infrastructure.
• Experience designing automation frameworks used by multiple teams and products.
• Ability to define coding standards, review architecture decisions, and drive technical excellence.
• Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives across teams.
