Job Summary:

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant with 6-9 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, specifically in RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) model for building modern, cloud-ready SAP applications. The candidate will design, develop, and implement scalable SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and backend services using the RAP framework to support SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and extend SAP applications using ABAP RAP framework in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform environments.
• Build and consume OData services compliant with RAP for Fiori/UI5 front-end integration.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and optimize database models, business logic, and service layers following RAP best practices.
• Implement end-to-end development lifecycle, including unit testing, integration testing, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to RAP applications and related SAP modules.
• Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with latest SAP technologies and best practices related to RAP and cloud development.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

• 5 - 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong expertise in ABAP RAP framework and development for SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 application development and OData services.
• Knowledge of CDS views, BOPF, and other SAP modern development concepts.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform and related services is preferred.
• Understanding of SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, or others relevant to client projects.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certifications in ABAP, RAP, or SAP S/4HANA development.

• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices in SAP environments.
