As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs. Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery. Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards. Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation. Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training. Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
· 3–6 years of experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, or third-party tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.
· Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible.
· Experience in setting up AWS Landing Zones, configuring auto-scaling, auto-provisioning, and managing multi-account AWS environments.
· Proficiency in scripting using YAML/JSON, and automation using Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
· Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Native Services such as: Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS, EKS (Kubernetes), CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, Security Groups.
· Solid understanding of branching strategies (e.g., Git Flow, trunk-based development) aligned with various release models.
· Experience deploying microservices in EKS or ECS, including writing Helm charts or Kubernetes manifests.
· Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, and implementing log aggregation and alerting.
· Ability to quickly learn new AWS services and DevOps tools and apply them effectively.
· Strong communication skills to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Desired Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
· 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS DevOps tools and AWS cloud services.
· Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, Git, and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
· Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
· Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
· Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
· Exposure to security and compliance in AWS environments (e.g., IAM policies, encryption, audit logging).
· AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional.
