Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery across cross-functional technology teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Scrum and Agile practices, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement, team collaboration, and timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
- Coach Agile teams on Scrum principles, values, and best practices.
- Remove impediments and blockers that affect team productivity and sprint goals.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Architects, and business stakeholders to ensure effective backlog management and sprint execution.
- Track sprint progress, velocity, burndown metrics, and delivery commitments.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives and Agile maturity initiatives.
- Ensure transparency in planning, execution, and reporting across stakeholders.
- Support release planning, dependency management, and cross-team coordination.
- Promote self-organizing, high-performing teams and improve overall team effectiveness.
- Drive Agile governance, metrics reporting, risk management, and delivery health monitoring.
- Mentor team members and contribute to Agile transformation initiatives within the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of overall IT experience, with at least 3+ years as a Scrum Master.
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile frameworks.
- Hands-on experience facilitating Agile ceremonies for software development teams.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in sprint planning, estimation techniques, backlog management, and Agile metrics.
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Ability to identify and resolve team impediments and improve delivery efficiency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in distributed or global Agile teams is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certification.
- Experience in Agile transformation or scaling Agile practices across multiple teams.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, cloud platforms, or software engineering practices is a plus.
- Exposure to release management and program-level Agile coordination.
