Job Title:  Senior Consultant | Azure Databricks | Bengaluru | Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver Single Source of Truth (SSOT) data products using the medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Estimate and size SSOT work and deliver independently within agreed timelines.
• Translate business requirements into build-ready SSOT specifications
• Develop SSOTs on Databricks, leveraging ADF for data ingestion and orchestration.
• Build Gold-layer SSOT objects aligned to business definitions applying appropriate data modeling techniques.
• Implement data quality checks and integrate DQ modules into SSOTs.
• Support migration of existing SSOTs to the target platform and repoint downstream dashboards (e.g., Power BI).
• Collaborate with Product Owners, domain SPOCs, governance, and visualization teams.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to ensure consistent SSOT delivery standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–9 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, notebooks, jobs) and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Strong hands-on SQL and experience implementing the medallion architecture on modern data platforms.
• Hands on experience with Snowflake and IICS is good-to-have
• Proven ability to design scalable data models and transformation logic.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for data platforms
• Experience implementing data quality checks and reconciliation logic.
• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and downstream consumption patterns is good-to-have.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and experience in a consulting or delivery-oriented environment.
