Your work profile

Deployments & Release Operations

• Execute metadata and data deployments for RES & CRM workstreams across environments using Azure DevOps pipelines and Prodly.
• Manage and maintain the code repository, branching strategy to ensure environments remain in sync with planned production releases, enabling clean merges and consistent code flow.
• Managing the emergency path from hotfix branch through production and back-porting to all lower environments to prevent overwrite by subsequent releases.
• Resolving code and meta data conflicts including "XML Merge Conflicts" in large files like
• Profiles, Permission Sets or complex Flows that multiple developers are editing simultaneously.
• Supporting data seeding of sandboxes using Prodly or any other data management tool as required.
• Participate in production change management and triage calls as required by the business.
• Maintain and update deployment documentation, runbooks and playbooks.
• Review technical documents received as part of each operational change or release.

Tooling & Ecosystem Maintenance

1. Maintenance and support of the existing DevOps ecosystem, including integrations between all platforms.
2. Support tooling updates across Salesforce, Azure DevOps, Gearset Clayton, Prodly.
3. Own Backup & Archive (Maintenance)
4. Updating backup configurations whenever new objects or fields are added to ensure no data is "missed" by the daily backup.
5. Ensuring backup and archive policies are running as designed, proactively flagging any failures and working towards timely resolution.
6. Periodic review of Clayton code quality reports, identification of issues and improvement opportunities, recommendation of remediation actions in adherence with best practice across the codebase.
7. Overall Org health check, security and metadata analysis for any possible tech debts along with code reviews with reporting and analysis.

Environment & Sandbox Administration

• Sandbox creation, including integration of new sandboxes into the pipeline when required.
• Sandbox refresh management, including data masking, post-refresh updates to Azure DevOps pipelines and Prodly configurations.
• Continuous review and improvement of DevOps pipeline.
• Salesforce admin activities (e.g. user creation, connected app creation, certificate renewal).
• Salesforce seasonal release management (Spring, Summer, Winter), impact assessment, regression co-ordination and environment updates.
• Platform maintenance & monitoring support in a multi org setup with middleware in between (Security, event monitoring, regular updates, security patching).

DevOps Improvements & Automation

• Continuous improvement of DevOps processes to advance operational maturity.
• Automation of manual changes, including identification of further Prodly data deployment opportunities.
• Improvement of release handover processes – release checklists, artifacts, quality gates.
