Your work profile

• We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with experience in software testing, test automation, and Python programming to support the validation of automotive software systems.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automation frameworks, API and GUI testing, CI/CD tools, and familiarity with automotive electronic systems.
• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for software applications.
• Perform REST API and GUI testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Python and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve software defects.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Configure and maintain testing environments, including Azure Virtual Machines.
• Work in Linux-based development and testing environments.
• Contribute to testing activities for automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and EE vehicle architecture.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• ISTQB Tester Certification or equivalent practical experience in software testing and test automation.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Hands-on experience in REST API testing and GUI testing.

Programming & Development

• Practical experience with Python programming (required).
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.

Test Automation & Tools

• Experience with:
• Robot Framework
• Selenium 
• Playwright 
• Jenkins 
• Python-based automation frameworks
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) environment.
• Knowledge of Azure Virtual Machine setup, configuration, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Linux environments.

Domain Knowledge

• Understanding of Electrical/Electronic (EE) vehicle architecture.
• Practical experience testing Electronic Control Units (ECUs) in automotive environments.

Full Stack Quality Engineering

• Establish testing coverage across UI, APIs, databases, and microservices.
• Implement shift-left testing methodologies.
• Ensure high automation coverage and maintainability.
• Design solutions for complex validation scenarios involving distributed architectures.

Technical Leadership

• Mentor test engineers and conduct automation code reviews.
• Define automation best practices and governance.
• Participate in effort estimation, risk assessment, and project planning.
• Drive quality improvements through metrics and analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Familiarity with embedded systems testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
