Job Title:  Senior Consultant | Backend Dev - Node.js / NestJS | Bengaluru | Marketing & Commerce

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong Node.js skills and deep experience in Adobe App Builder to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and deploying custom applications that extend Adobe Experience Cloud solutions. This role also requires expertise in configuring Adobe App Builder environments, setting up development instances, and initializing repositories with Adobe’s default code structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Build and deploy custom applications using Adobe App Builder to extend Adobe Experience Cloud functionalities.
• Configure and manage Adobe App Builder environments, including setting up development instances and Adobe Developer Console projects.
• Create and initialize code repositories using Adobe’s default project structure and templates.
• Integrate with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Commerce, and Adobe Target.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, architects, and Adobe consultants.
• Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing.
• Stay current with Adobe’s evolving ecosystem and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js.
• Proven experience with Adobe App Builder and Adobe I/O Runtime.
• Strong understanding of Adobe Experience Cloud architecture and extensibility.
• Experience configuring Adobe Developer Console, setting up workspaces, and managing API credentials.
• Ability to create and manage Git repositories with Adobe’s default scaffolding.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, OAuth, and serverless architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) credentials.
• Experience with Adobe I/O Events and Adobe APIs.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Experience with GraphQL and headless CMS architectures.
