Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to lead agile teams responsible for the implementation of Siemens Opcenter MES in the discrete/automotive manufacturing environment. This role will focus on ensuring timely and successful delivery of MES solutions by facilitating Agile practices, removing roadblocks, and coordinating cross-functional collaboration among development, testing, deployment, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Guide and coach Agile teams on Scrum principles, practices, and frameworks to ensure delivery success.
- Collaborate with MES architects, functional analysts, and developers during the implementation of Siemens Opcenter.
- Work closely with automotive manufacturing stakeholders to ensure MES features align with production goals, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Remove impediments that block progress, escalating issues as needed.
- Track sprint goals, team velocity, and deliverables using Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
- Manage communication between cross-functional teams including OT, IT, QA, and business units.
- Assist product owners in backlog grooming, prioritization, and requirement clarity.
- Maintain focus on MES-specific timelines and deliverables aligned with broader automotive manufacturing transformation programs.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in IT/Manufacturing projects, with at least 3 years in a Scrum Master role.
- Hands-on experience managing MES (Manufacturing Execution System) projects, preferably Siemens Opcenter.
- Prior experience in the automotive manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and their application in complex enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing operations, shop floor processes, and PLM/ERP/MES integration.
- Expertise in Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills.
- Certification preferred: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of ISA-95 standards, Industry 4.0 concepts, and digital manufacturing workflows.
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) is a plus.
- Experience working with global teams or Tier-1 automotive suppliers/OEMs.
