Your work profile

Oracle GL & Accounting Hub Implementation

• Configure and support Oracle Fusion General Ledger and Accounting Hub solutions.
• Work on key Oracle Financials components including:
• General Ledger
• Accounting Hub
• Subledger Accounting (SLA)
• Chart of Accounts and Accounting Flexfields
• Ledgers, Legal Entities, and Business Units
• Accounting Calendars and Currencies
• Journals, Posting, and Allocations
• Intercompany Accounting
• Configure accounting rules, event classes, journal line rules, account derivation rules, and mapping sets.
• Support integration of external transaction sources with Oracle Accounting Hub.
• Participate in Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Financials transformation and migration activities.

Functional Analysis & Solution Design

• Analyze business and accounting requirements and map them to Oracle Cloud functionality.
• Participate in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design workshops.
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and process documentation.
• Recommend Oracle standard functionality and best practices to meet business requirements.
• Support complex accounting and financial close requirements.

Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with OIC and technical teams to support integrations between Accounting Hub and external systems.
• Support integrations with AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, SCM, PPM, and third-party applications.
• Validate accounting generated from inbound transactions and perform financial reconciliation.
• Collaborate with reporting teams for OTBI, BI Publisher, and FDI reporting requirements.

Testing & Deployment

• Prepare and execute unit test cases and support SIT and UAT activities.
• Validate accounting entries, journals, distributions, and GL balances.
• Perform data reconciliation between source systems, Accounting Hub, SLA, and GL.
• Support defect analysis and resolution.
• Participate in cutover, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities.

Client Interaction & Collaboration

• Participate in client workshops, requirement discussions, and solution walkthroughs.
• Work closely with finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders.
• Explain accounting flows, configurations, and system behavior to business users.
• Support UAT sessions, issue resolution, and client sign-offs.
• Provide regular status updates to Managers and project leadership.

Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Work under the guidance of Managers and Oracle Financials Leads.
• Guide Consultants and junior team members on assigned activities.
• Review functional configurations and deliverables where required.
• Contribute to reusable templates, accelerators, and knowledge repositories.
• Share Oracle GL and Accounting Hub best practices within the practice.

Key skills required

• 4–7 years of experience in Oracle Financials / Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion General Ledger.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Accounting Hub and/or Subledger Accounting (SLA).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience with accounting rules, journal line rules, account derivation rules, and mapping sets.
• Experience working on at least one Oracle Financials implementation or transformation program.
• Understanding of integrations between Oracle Financials and external systems.
• Experience working in a global delivery or offshore model.
