• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web applications and APIs.
• Create scalable and reusable automation solutions using Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, and WebdriverIO (WDIO).
• Develop and execute automated functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
• Implement automation frameworks using JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Mocha, and BDD Cucumber.
• Design and maintain Page Object Model (POM) based automation frameworks to improve maintainability and scalability.
• Develop and execute API automation test cases using REST APIs, Postman, and REST Assured.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other DevOps tools.
• Analyze test execution results, troubleshoot failures, and improve automation stability by addressing flaky test cases.
• Generate and maintain test execution reports using Allure Reporting and other reporting tools.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, story grooming, defect triaging, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing is completed within sprint timelines and quality standards.
• Perform test data validation and database verification where required.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools such as Cursor AI to enhance automation development, code optimization, debugging, and framework maintenance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to increase automation coverage and testing efficiency.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on automation best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation and Software Testing.
• Proven experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
