Job Summary:

Deloitte is looking for an experienced Senior Consultant with 6–9 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, with a strong focus on Generative AI (GenAI) technologies. The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of machine learning, NLP, and emerging GenAI tools to design and deploy intelligent enterprise solutions using foundation models and LLMs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement GenAI-powered applications using LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, LLaMA, Claude, Gemini, etc.).
• Build and optimize prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and embedding-based search solutions.
• Lead projects involving GenAI use cases such as summarization, content generation, chatbots, copilots, document understanding, and personalization.
• Integrate GenAI solutions with enterprise systems and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Use tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face Transformers, and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate).
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to define problem statements and GenAI architectures.
• Apply responsible AI practices including governance, bias mitigation, explainability, and model traceability.
• Guide junior team members and lead technical discussions with clients.
• Contribute to GenAI accelerators, assets, and IP within Deloitte’s AI practice.
• Support pre-sales, solutioning, and proposal development for GenAI opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience:

• 5 – 8 years of total experience in AI/ML and data science.
• At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Generative AI, LLMs, or NLP solutions.
• Strong Python skills and experience working with GenAI libraries and APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.).
• Experience deploying GenAI solutions in cloud environments (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, etc.).

Skills:

• Strong understanding of transformer models, embeddings, and fine-tuning techniques.
• Knowledge of prompt tuning, vector search, and hybrid retrieval.
• Ability to architect scalable GenAI pipelines in production.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client interaction skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in AI/ML or cloud platforms (e.g., Azure AI Engineer, AWS ML Specialty).
• Familiarity with LLMOps tools for model tracking, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Experience in regulated industries like finance, healthcare, or legal.
• Prior experience working in a client-facing consulting role.
